What Is The BioMechanics Method?
Biomechanics is essentially the study of how the body moves — and how it uses or resists forces like gravity to function efficiently.
The BioMechanics Method (TBMM) takes this concept and builds a practical, proven framework to help identify why pain, discomfort, or dysfunctional movement patterns show up — and what to do about it.
Instead of treating symptoms, this method digs into the underlying causes — things like muscle imbalances, joint misalignments, or habitual movement patterns that are holding you back from feeling strong, mobile, and pain-free.
Why This Method Matters — and How It Changed My Work
By becoming a certified The BioMechanics Method Specialist, a powerful layer of insight has made my myofascial release sessions even more effective and expanded my practice by offering Postural Survey Assessments and Corrective Exercise program design. My sessions have always focused on reducing pain, improving recovery, and preventing injury and by empowering you to do self-work at home, we work together to make lasting change.
Who Created It — and Why That Matters
The BioMechanics Method was created by Justin Price, a respected educator known for his expertise in musculoskeletal assessment and corrective exercise. His approach has helped thousands of people improve their movement and reduce chronic pain — and his reputation is well-earned. His course has provided thousands of health and fitness professionals earn CES-TBMM credentials in more than 60 countries and is approved as continuing education by top fitness organizations worldwide.
What makes his system different?
It’s not just about “fixing” something and sending you off. It’s about helping you understand what’s going on in your body and empowering you with clear instruction.
As part of this system, I work with clients to:
- Record exercise instructions in their own voice for easier recall
- Take progress photos to refine form and reinforce learning
- Quiz clients on best times to perform movements, so the program fits your life
It is a collaborative, structured, and highly personalized approach.

Ready to Move Better?
If you’re tired of pushing through pain, guessing at your movement limitations, or getting advice that doesn’t feel tailored to you — let’s change that.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Is this like physical therapy?
Not quite. While physical therapy is typically used for post-surgical rehab or injury recovery under a medical diagnosis, The BioMechanics Method focuses on identifying and correcting underlying movement dysfunctions that may be contributing to pain or performance issues. It’s educational, movement-based, and proactive — and often complements PT beautifully.
Do I need to be “fit” to start?
Absolutely not. Everything is tailored to your current abilities and goals — no matter your age, experience, or fitness level.
Is this only for people in pain?
Nope! Even if you’re not in pain, small misalignments or movement inefficiencies can limit your progress or set you up for future injuries. Corrective work improves posture, balance, performance, and confidence in your body.
What’s different about how you deliver this method?
Instead of using a generic plan, I take a fully customized approach that includes:
1) Personalized exercise plans that include self-myofascial release, stretching, strengthening and integration.
2) Photos and instruction cues written in your own voice so you actually remember what to do.
3) Ongoing coaching so your progress is sustainable.
Do I have to do these exercises forever?
Yes and No. The goal is to correct imbalances and build better movement patterns so your body can maintain those improvements with less effort over time.
Change takes time. I would encourage quarterly follow-up sessions to retain all the work you have done. During our follow-up sessions we can discuss your experiences, and review exercises in your customized manual that can slip into your regular exercise routine. We can progress and regress at any time in our lives, it’s just how aging works!
What are Combination Sessions?
Combination Sessions are for in-person clients who’ve completed 4–8 corrective exercise sessions. Rather than relying on the self-myofascial release techniques you would use at home, this approach accelerates results by addressing soft tissue restrictions with hands-on myofascial release and providing guidance with exercises to improve structural imbalances in the same session.
